During the time Gwyn lived in Dallas, Texas she was a member of the Texas Legend Band, the house band for the Wylie Opry in Wylie, TX. When she moved to California and continued teaching voice lessons, she found that the only opportunities for her to perform were generally karaoke and student recitals.
It was then she began her dream of opening an “Opry” style show here in Temecula. She wanted a place for performers to showcase and grow in their performance skills and for skilled performers to reach a receptive audience in a professional atmosphere.
After co-producing the Temecula Live! Country Music Review. Its repeated success prompted the Old Town Temecula Theater to offer up the opportunity to produce a new country show right there in the heart of Temecula. With The Ranch Rockers fully on board, it was just the push they needed to make the magic happen.
